As part of that commitment, we offer a Price Protection Guarantee — because we believe you should always feel confident that you're getting great value when you shop with us.What Is Price Protection?
Our Price Protection Policy ensures that if you purchase a product from Shopify Supply and subsequently find the same or a comparable product available at a reduced price on-site — within 30 days of your original purchase date, you may be eligible to receive store credit or a Shopify Supply gift card for the difference.Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for Price Protection, all of the following conditions must be met:- Purchase Window: Your original order must have been placed within the last 30 calendar days from the date of your price protection request.
- Product Comparability: The lower-priced item must be the same product (identical SKU, model, size, color, and configuration) or a demonstrably comparable product with equivalent features, quality, and specifications purchased on Shopify Supply.
- Product Availability: The lower-priced item must be currently in stock and immediately available for purchase at the time of your request.
- Order Status: Your original order must have been fulfilled and must not be subject to a return, exchange, or existing dispute.
- One Claim Per Order: Only one Price Protection request may be submitted per order line item.
Eligible Price Differences
Price Protection may apply in the following scenarios:- Shopify Supply Price Drop: The price of the item you purchased has been reduced directly on shopify.supply after your purchase.
Compensation Method
Approved Price Protection claims will be compensated as follows:- Store Credit or Gift Card: Customers will receive the price difference in the form of a Shopify Supply store credit or gift card, equal to the difference between the price paid and the current lower price, excluding taxes, shipping fees, and any discounts already applied to the original order.
- Store credit and gift cards are non-transferable, have no cash value, and can only be redeemed on shopify.supply.
- Store credit and gift cards do not expire.
Exclusions
The following are not eligible for Price Protection:- Products purchased during a limited-time flash sale, promotional event, or special one-day offer.
- Price differences resulting from coupon codes, bundle deals, loyalty rewards, or other promotional discounts applied by the customer or a third party.
- Products listed by unauthorized resellers, marketplace sellers (e.g., individual eBay or Facebook Marketplace listings), or auction-based platforms.
- Clearance, liquidation, open-box, refurbished, or otherwise non-new condition items.
- Price differences arising from currency fluctuations or regional pricing variations.
- Products that are out of stock at the time of the Price Protection request.
- Claims submitted after the 30-day window from the original purchase date.
- Digital products, downloadable items, or gift cards.
How to Submit a Price Protection Request
To submit a claim, please follow these steps:- Contact Us within 30 days of your original purchase date by emailing supply@shopify.com or using the support form on our website.
- Include the Following Information:
- Your full name and order number.
- The product name and SKU in question.
- Proof of the lower price (e.g., a URL link to the product page, a timestamped screenshot clearly showing the product name, price, and retailer).
- Await Verification: Our team will review your request within 10 business days and verify the comparable pricing.
- Receive Your Credit: If approved, your store credit or gift card will be issued and emailed to the address on file within 2 business days of approval.
Policy Limitations
- Shopify Supply reserves the right to verify the accuracy of any submitted price evidence and to reject claims that cannot be independently confirmed.
- Shopify Supply reserves the right to modify or discontinue this Price Protection Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will apply to purchases made after the updated effective date.
- This policy applies to individual consumer purchases only and is not available for wholesale, bulk, or reseller orders.
- Shopify Supply's decision on all Price Protection requests is final.
