Crafted in industrial woven polyester in signature yellow, the Shipping Strap Handbag is Nik Bentel Studio’s unexpected take on a classic shipping staple. But first you’ll have to pry it open from a sealed wooden crate, crowbar included.

The Shipping Strap Handbag is a limited-edition bag made in collaboration with Nik Bentel Studio, a Shopify merchant.

Materials and care 
The bag features industrial woven polyester cargo straps and reinforced stitching. It comes in a custom wooden shipping crate, packaged with a steel crowbar for opening.

Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme heat.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
Minor wear, creasing, and surface marks are natural characteristics of the industrial materials and are intended as part of the design.

When we invited Nik Bentel Studio to collaborate with Shopify, Nik looked to the objects and materials woven into the fabric of entrepreneurs' everyday lives.

His question: what if the everyday shipping strap could be reimagined as something functional and stylish?

From durability to the bright yellow hue, every element was engineered to honor the bag's utilitarian roots and become a true statement piece.

Running a business today means thinking globally from day one. A sketch made in New York can end up on someone’s doorstep across the world a few days later. My goal for this project is to celebrate that system.— Nik Bentel
